Solon graduated from American University Washington College of Law where he was a member of Law Review, a Dean’s Fellow, and a Marshall-Brennan Fellow.  Solon has interned for the Honorable Steven Platt at the Circuit Court in Prince George’s County Maryland and has worked at the law firms, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom and Arnold & Porter.  Solon is also an award-winning author and playwright and the founder of Growing Kings, a mentoring program for young men ages 12–18 based in the Washington, D.C. area.

Ms. Yada Pranya

Ms. Pranya was born in Thailand and received her Bachelor of Law from Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand with a passion to become a public prosecutor.  Soon after graduation, she became a law clerk at THEP Law, LLC in Bangkok.  Among other things in her position, Ms. Pranya conducted legal research, wrote summaries for cases, and assisted senior attorneys in client interviews and hearings.  To further her legal education, she came to the United States in 2013 to pursue her Master Degree of Laws. She holds two LL.M. Degrees of Laws from Howard University (2014) in Washington, DC and Emory University School of Law (2015) in Atlanta, Georgia, respectively. She married a U.S. Citizen in 2016 and became a U.S. Citizen in 2020. She knows and understands from her own personal experience what the immigration process is like.  As an Immigration Paralegal, Ms. Pranya has applied her skills to a variety of cases ranging from family and employment-based petitions, adjustments of status, immigrant and non-immigrant visas, as well as an Unlawful Provisional waiver and Waiver on Ground of Inadmissibility. She has a passion to help people and make an impact on society.  Mr. Pranya is fluent in English and Thai.

Ms. Paulina Buitrago

Ms. Buitrago was born in Colombia and is a licensed attorney in her homeland. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the Universidad del Norte in Barranquilla, Columbia, as well as a Master of Laws from the Pennsylvania State University in State College, PA. As an Immigration Paralegal, she has been responsible for the management of over 250 cases, which include applications before the US Citizenship and Immigration Services and removal defense actions before the Immigration Court. More specifically, she has worked on U-visas, adjustments of status, naturalizations, asylum defense, and more. As an immigrant herself, she is passionate about helping other immigrants navigate through the American immigration system successfully and easily.  Ms. Buitrago is a native Spanish speaker and highly proficient in English.

Ms. Manuela Capitanu

Ms. Capitanu was born in Romania and holds a Master’s Degree in Textile Engineering from Polytechnic Institute in Iași, Romania. She worked as a textile engineer in both her old and new homelands. But for more than 23 years, Ms. Capitanu has been a paralegal in the immigration field.  As an Immigration Paralegal, she has worked closely with attorneys to provide paralegal assistance on multiple high-priority cases.  She has also drafted legal documents, which included forms, agreements, legal motions, briefs, and appeals and performed legal search.  Ms. Capitanu is fluent in Romanian, English, French, and Italian and has proficiency in learning Spanish.
